Edencraft Unveil the 255 Formula at Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show

The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, the pinnacle event in the Southern Hemisphere’s boating calendar, recently concluded, leaving an indelible mark on Australia’s boating landscape. This year, the show was not just a display of incredible boats but also a celebration of the boating lifestyle, attracting over 43,000 visitors who admired the assembly of 760 boats and more than 2,500 marine products.

The greatness of the event was matched by the unveiling of Edencraft International’s latest marvel, the 255 Formula, in a global debut that drew spectators and prospective buyers across Queensland and beyond. With Lynchy and Ann behind the wheel, the new legendary 255 Formula made the long journey from the Moolap Factory in Victoria to the scenic Sanctuary Cove in Queensland. The rest of the team at Edencraft took a short flight to the sunny Gold Coast to join their exhibiting Queensland dealership, Australian Marine Centre, staged at Stand 1.11 at the roundabout.

There is no doubt that Edencraft took centre stage, showcasing their commitment to excellence and craftsmanship. The 255 Formula was the star of the show, representing the pinnacle of design and functionality, tailored for both the hardcore anglers and the leisure-seeking adventurers. Australian Marine Centre’s display also included the versatile 565 and the robust 6.0 Offshore, each model telling its unique story of quality and performance.

The event was more than just a showcase; it was an interactive experience. The Edencraft team engaged directly with attendees, providing insights into the custom-built options and advanced features of their boats. The atmosphere at the show was electric, with discussions about boating innovations and lifestyle extending beyond the confines of the exhibit. These conversations were not limited to daytime activities but flowed into the evenings, especially on Thursday night when Edencraft hosted an exclusive and special celebration with their brand partners, suppliers, and current and future boat owners.

As the sun set, the event space transformed into a festive gathering, celebrating the launch of the 255 Formula with fine food, exquisite drinks, and lively music, creating a memorable experience for all present.

Edencraft was humbled by the commitment and enthusiasm of the Edencraft community, as numerous owners from across Australia made the journey to celebrate with us and participate in the event’s activities.

The following day General Manager, Josie Eastman was invited with her team to attend AIMEX’s Young Professionals Lunch where Josie shared her experience in the marine industry while providing advice and inspiration to others wanting to become part of it.

The festivities at Sanctuary Cove were just the beginning of Edencraft’s engagement with the Queensland community. The following weekend, the adventure continued with an on-water experience hosted by the Australian Marine Centre in Southport on the Gold Coast. Scheduled for the 1st and 2nd of June, this event provided an ideal setting for boating enthusiasts to test the waters, quite literally. Participants were invited to experience the handling and performance of Edencraft’s boats firsthand, an opportunity that many eagerly embraced and appreciated.

The team at Edencraft International are already planning and looking forward to next year’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show with more exciting news to share and celebrate with the boating community.
