It was there he experienced the ride of the 565, which stayed with him until he decided last year to custom build his very own.Alan loves fishing the local bays and the FADs on the East Coast but wanted to venture further and experience more of what offshore fishing has to offer. With performance and safety in mind, the 565’s versatile design and flared bow meant he could keep his family dry and provide a safer boat in following seas while targeting bigger pelagic species on the East Coast.Specific customisations made to Alan’s 565 to enhance his boating experience included his choice of a Mercury 225 DTS V6 outboard, windscreen with a wavebreaker, ten rod holders mounted to his stainless folding rocket launcher (a first on a 565), stainless snapper racks, Savwinch electric winch, and BoatCatch on a reliable EasyTow alloy trailer.Congratulations, Alan, on a beautiful looking 565, we can’t wait to see where your new boat takes you!
