Ben ‘BJ’ has been part of the Edencraft family for many years. As a former Sales Manager, he knew exactly what he was buying into and he recently made the leap, upgrading from his beloved 6.0 Offshore to finally own his dream boat, a 233 Formula.
But this wasn’t just any handover. After years of handing the keys to new owners, this time it was BJ’s turn and what a moment it was.
His 233 Formula is extra special — the first to feature our latest evolution of this time-proven offshore classic. At the core of the upgrade is our newly designed, resin-infused, double-skinned hardtop. Extended further back, it now provides better protection at the helm, a larger rear side window, and more coverage for those standing behind the seats. The redesigned interior integrates recessed lighting, speakers, radios, and stainless vertical and horizontal grab rails for a clean, high-performance finish.
Down the back, updates continue. We’ve removed the rounded bait tank to create a flat transom and extra deck space without sacrificing capability, thanks to a massive 84L bait tank still built in. All plastic hatches have also been replaced with premium fibreglass moulded hatches, giving the boat a clean, high-end finish throughout.
With his electrical background, BJ pulled together a powerhouse fitout: triple Simrad screens, VHF radio, AutoPilot, Lenco Pro auto trim tabs, Savwinch anchor winch, and a JL Audio stereo that seriously pumps. He even added a 12V heater to keep the windscreen warm and clear, paired with triple wipers for those crisp early morning runs.
Tanned seating and custom DECKD interior tie it all together for one seriously sharp rig.
