ONGOING CARE & SERVICE

When you purchase an Edencraft you become part of the Edencraft family. After delivery of your boat, we love to stay in touch to make sure your boat is continuing to meet your needs & to hear all of your fishing stories! In addition to your world class trailer boat you’ll have a relationship with the company that’ll last a lifetime.

We also offer ongoing care and maintenance of your boat at our Edencraft Marine Service Centre, situated on site at Edencraft International. Rest assured the service team proudly champion the same obsession for quality Edencraft is renowned for.

1. Warranty Coverage

Edencraft International provides a warranty covering all workmanship and fit-out work performed by Edencraft for a period of one year or 100 hours of use, whichever occurs first, from the date of handover of the vessel (“Warranty Period”). This warranty is in addition to any statutory guarantees that may apply under Australian Consumer Law.

2. Scope of Warranty

This warranty applies to:

  • Defects in workmanship.
  • Issues arising from improper installation.
  • Failure of materials directly resulting from installation methods.

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or improper maintenance.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Damage resulting from external factors, including but not limited to water damage, pest infestations, or environmental conditions.
  • Alterations, modifications, or additions made after handover by the owner or third parties, including non-authorized service providers.

3. Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, the client must:

  1. Notify Edencraft International in writing within 30 days of discovering a defect
  2. Provide a detailed description of the defect or issue, including, where possible, photographs documenting the problem.
  3. Permit Edencraft reasonable access to inspect and assess the defect at a mutually agreed location.

Clients can submit their warranty claims through completing the following form.

4. Remedies

Upon validation of a warranty claim, Edencraft International will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the defect at no cost to the client, or
  • Replace the affected materials or workmanship.

All repairs or replacements will be conducted in a reasonable timeframe, taking into consideration the nature of the defect and the availability of necessary parts or materials.

5. Limitations

This warranty does not cover:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use or lost profits.
  • Damage caused by improper use, including exceeding the vessel’s recommended power ratings or failure to adhere to Edencraft’s usage guidelines.

6. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and is subject to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, including Australian Consumer Law.
