Luke and Kasey’s 233 Formula ‘Robyn’ is our most comprehensive build yet. Built to AMSA 2C and 3C requirements, ‘Robyn’ is heading to work from Airlie Beach in Queensland.
Luke opted for a podded version to allow for more internal deck space and an extended waterline. Twin 300Hp V8 Mercury SeaPro outboards with 4.6L capacity combined with a 600L fuel tank provide the power required to carry heavy loads on long range expeditions. Being a commercial vessel, ‘Robyn’ is fully decked out with quality electronics, 12 and 16 inch Evo3S MFDs, Halo 20+ radar, a Simrad autopilot system, Minn Kota Terova with a customised bow sprit and bow rail, Marineco 70amp electric reel plugs for Belitronic jig fishing reels, a thermal imaging Flir camera, wind detector, toilet and, of course, a pie oven.
To maximise deck space, stainless esky frames have been included to store tough Icey-Tek eskies. For days without charter clients on board, Luke’s huge fish box can be secured with custom locators in the floor. This super-comprehensive rig is paired with a heavy-duty 4.5T Easytow alloy trailer.
